The Eucharistic Crusade is a religious organization
set up under St. Pius X where children learn good habits of prayer and sacrifice.
The motto is: Prayer, Communion, Sacrifice, Apostolate! There are three steps
or degrees of the Crusade: Page, Crusader and Knight (Handmaid for girls).
The basic obligations for all members are to say
the morning offering daily and to fill out (daily) and turn in (at the end of
the month) a "treasure sheet” of prayers, communions, sacrifices
etc. offered up that month. There are further obligations for each higher degree
in the Crusade. The Crusade is open to children from the time of first communion
to age 16 (in St. Mary’s the custom is from 2nd to 8th grade).
There are meetings approximately once a month for
all members. To find out more please read the booklets linked below or call
the switchboard with questions. A copy of the Treasure Sheet is also included
below to print and fill out.
